Marta kindly offered the beach area of Old Belize Museum for a pot-luck SCA get together following the Mass. Unfortunately, she had to leave the country shortly before the reunion due to a family emergency. Marta insisted that we still meet at Old Belize in spite of her absence.

Rita Stuart Young couldn’t attend because she was receiving chemotherapy. We had been looking forward to seeing Antonieta Cardona Martínez, but she had to cancel her plans due to her husband’s illness. We hoped that Christine Heusner Robinson could attend. After a hectic time at work, Christine decided that she could make a brief trip to Belize for the reunion–only to discover that her passport had expired!
We missed Marta, Rita, Antonieta, Christine, and other classmates who couldn’t make it to the reunion.
